Browse a sample of our mandolin, ukulele, and banjo collection:
The ukulele is a Hawaiian four stringed instrument in the lute family. It’s tone and volume depend on the size. It is an easy and fun instrument to learn.
The mandolin offers a bright sound which is made fuller by the drone strings. Each of the four strings has a second string running along side it for added character to the sound. A mandolin is tuned similar to a violin, so those who have already had instruction in playing violin may find playing a mandolin feels familiar.
The banjo is known for its loud and twangy bluegrass sound, however, it is slowly making its way into newer pop music. Traditionally played with multiple finger picks.
Teachers available for these instruments: Joe Hardin, Ann Trowbridge Bailes, Glenn Jones, Justin Kobylus or Andrew Johnson.
