Downtown Music was officially established in February of 2015, but has been a long time in creation. The owner, Joe Hardin, has been teaching for over 20 years and has always dreamed of opening his own shop. We have been blessed with great support from our community, and hope to be your favorite place for music for years to come!
We offer lessons in:

The cost is $90/month for 4 half hour lessons (once a week). We offer a family discount, where multiple lessons are only $85/month.
We pride ourselves on our teacher’s knowledge as well as the fun we create. Music should be an enjoyed experience, so along with technical ability and understanding of music theory, we also know how to have a great time!

FAQ
What age limits are there for learning to play music?
You are never too young or too old to learn music. We have students from as young as 3 to over 70! If you aren’t sure if your young child will be able to pay attention long enough for a lesson, schedule a FREE mini-lesson to see how they do!
Do you rent instruments?
We do have some rental plans for certain instruments! Contact our store for more information.
Do you do lay away?
Yes! We require 50% down to hold the instrument for you. A great option for Christmas, birthdays, or a little something just for yourself!
Do you teach at nights?
Although scheduling depends on the teacher’s availability, we have many lesson slots available for after store hours!
